About the workplace
The organization is represented externally by the union board, which leads all activities, including Umeå Student Union’s office.
At the office there are 7 full- or part-time employees and 6 elected students who support the entire organization, from representing individual students, to administering operations and finances, managing decision follow-up and coordinating the daily operation.
Umeå Student Union offers a varied and stimulating workplace where the activities are based on the commitment of students and many new issues and projects emerge every year. In the work, there is a lot of room to make priorities on your own according to an established job description and project plan.
